How To Judge The Quality of Quartz Stone ?

How To Judge The Quality of Quartz Stone ?

The quality of quartz stone slabs is directly related to hardware facilities such as raw materials, mechanical equipment, manufacturing processes, and technical research and development capabilities. Of course, enterprise management is also crucial.

1. Stomata Phenomenon:

There are round holes of different numbers and sizes on the surface of the plate.

Cause Analysis:
When the plate is pressed, the vacuum degree in the press does not meet the requirement of -0.098Mpa, and the air in the material is not exhausted.

2. Sand Hole Phenomenon:

Holes with different numbers, sizes and rules appear on the surface of the board.

Cause Analysis:

1. The board is not compacted.

2. Fast curing of the board (curing during the pressing process).

3. Variegated Phenomenon:

1. Black color produced by friction between material and iron.

2. Noise caused by decolorization of mirror glass.

Cause Analysis:

1. Iron leakage from the stirring paddle, or iron leakage from the discharge outlet, resulting in black friction between the material and the iron.

2. The vibration force of the press is not uniform, which causes the mirror glass to discolor and produce variegated colors in some parts of the plate.

3. The debris in the environment enters the board and causes variegation.

4. Broken Glass Phenomenon:

Glass cracking phenomenon on the board surface.
Cause Analysis:

1. The coupling agent is invalid, or the amount added is insufficient, or the active ingredient content is not up to the standard.

2. The board is not fully cured.

5. Particle Unevenness Phenomenon:

Uneven distribution of large particles on the surface of the board, local dense, local evacuation
Cause Analysis:

1. Insufficient mixing time leads to uneven mixing.

2. Add the color paste before the particles and powder are evenly stirred, and the powder and color paste will form agglomerates. If the stirring time is insufficient, it will easily cause uneven distribution of particles.

6. Cracking Phenomenon:

Cracks in the plate
Cause Analysis:

1. After the board leaves the press, it is affected by external influences (such as being lifted up when the paper is torn off, the wooden mold is shaken, etc.) causing cracks or cracks.

2. During the curing process of the heat-cured sheet, cracks or cracks are caused due to different curing degrees of various parts.

3. The cold-cured sheet is affected by external forces during curing to cause cracks or cracks.

4. The board is cracked or cracked by external force after curing.
